How to clean filter of split AC.

Cleaning an AC air filter is the very easy, simple yet very important task. We must clean filter of AC once in a month. I was facing cooling issues with my AC. I called customer care, they asked me to clean filter. I cleaned it and now its working perfectly fine.

Steps:
  1. locate the space to open front cover of indoor unit.
  2. open front cover.
  3. gently remove filters.
  4. clean filters in running water. You may use detergent.
  5. shadow dry filters.
  6. refix filters on their place.
  7. close front cover.

Precautions:
  1. remove electric plug first.
  2. do not apply force to open/close anything.
  3. no screw nut or bolt is needed to open.
  4. pay attention to all the warnings written on unit.

Camping at Hatu Temple(Narkanda)

Last week we friends made a camping plan to somewhere in Himachal. We were planing a trip of 3 days and 2 nights(including travel). Then it was time to decide some good location. We were looking for a neat place for camping. We shortlisted few places:

  1. Jalori Pass.
  2. Chansal Pass.
  3. Solang Velly.
  4. Manali.

Following were the requirements:

  1. A plane where we could put our tents.
  2. A place maximum of 5-7 hours away from Chandigarh.
  3. Place should be safe.
  4. We were on Thar. Thar does not have proper safety locks(one can easily enter in locked Thar). So we were looking for a camping place not far away from our vehicle.

Keeping all these points in mind we shortlisted Jalori Pass & Chansal. Final decision was to taken once we reach Shimla. We left early morning from Chandigarh. whether was not much friendly that day. It started raining heavy. Stones were falling on the road. We parked our Thar at a safe place. Due to which we were late on our schedule. Suddenly someone suggested Hatu temple. We all agreed to visit Hatu temple. Hatu is a highest peak in Shimla region. Which is approximate 70 KMs from Shimla and 5 KMs from Narkanda. Narkanda is on National Highway so roads are good till Narkanda. Road to Hatu from Narkanda is good enough to reach the peak. This is a single road with few points in between to give pass to the Vehicles coming from other side. On Hatu temple is on the peak. This is a wooden temple and is dedicated Hatu Mata, which is said to be Ravna's wife Mandodari. They also organize a fair on first Sunday of Jyeshtha month(which is 3rd Sunday of May month). We reach the top on time. This is a beautiful place. We spent a big time there. And started back to Narkanda. We find a roadside shop. We had evening snacks there. There was a place land which was meeting all of our requirement from Camping. So we parked our vehicle there and put our tents approximate 100 meters off road. We arranged some wooden sticks and a huge wooden log for bonfire. Place was safe and whether was cool(a bit cold in night).

PS:
1. We were with family and girls did not face any problem there.
2. We were surrounded by dense forest.
3. We got a change to capture few vultures there. Which is not easily possible anywhere else.

Seat number 13: faridabad to chandigarh.

Sandeep Gupta is marrying today and I planned a quick short trip to chandigarh. My plan was to get up early(at 3 am) and catch the 1st bus to chandigarh which is at 4:30 am from faridabad. So I set the alarm for 4:00 ( I still remember that plan was to set alarm at 3 but I thought my friend would be able to manage at least one hour of his wedding without me ). So I wake up at 4:10 and was all ready to leave home at 4:40 (see I bargain 1 hour sleep with 10 min delay, wow I am proud of myself). Then I took blessings of parents and left home. Dady dropped me At old faridabad.
I was standing there, waiting for any bus to Delhi. A couple was standing beside me. Girl was wearing a chura (newly married punjabi girls wear that in their arms to show that they are newly married and expiry date of their girlhood is nowhere near), and boy was wearing helmet. Helmet? OK helmet. But Helmet n chura? What a combination. I know helmets are for safety but how that girl was thinking to save herself by CHURA in case of any mishap. Anyways not my problem, after all its their life and they have to play safe. Suddenly everyone started running towards nowhere. Just like ants running directionless when somebody put some turmeric powder on their hole. Oh it's a bus instead of turmeric powder. Obviously we are not ants. I rush to bus and then conductor said they are going to sirsa and will not go to isbt new Delhi. Huh, I studied at hisar (on the route of sirsa) and I never got this bus in 4 years. Anyways could not do anything. So simply stood there watching that newly married girl with helmet safe guy. Girl boarded the bus and boy wished her happy journey and left. The helmet guy most be her husband. But I am still unable to understand why he needed a helmet to save himself from his wife. Leave it, it's his problem (and he was happily saying bye to his problem).
Again I was standing there, waiting for another bus to chandigarh or at least to Delhi.  After few minutes another bus arrived. And it was direct to chandigarh. I was happy to see that. I asked conductor if they have seats. He replied: ANDAR AAJA, FER DEKH LIYO. OK, I like the idea and boarded the bus. Hmmm, I see a 3 seater seat, a boy in desi haryanavi dress and a haryanavi girl in jeans top were sitting there. I asked for seat and girl told me to sit in between them. OK. Finally I got the seat number 13 (still I am sitting on that seat writing this bullshit). If you ever travelled via haryana roadways, you must be aware that haryana roadways drivers are the fastest pilots. And they move their hands on those curves as if they are of some woman instead of road. And on one of those cuts I got disbalance and my arm touched her waist. I looked at her, waiting for her reaction. But she was all normal. It could be normal daily routine for her. Or she could be used to this.  Them I closed my eyes. And here started the mind game. I started thinking what will happen if I touch her intentionally? Well, suddenly I recalled the incident of brave rohtak sisters.  They were also travelling on a local bus and some boy touches one of them them. Girls started beating the boy with belts. Nobody in bus was helping those girls. Even bus conductor and driver were also not paying any attention to them. 1 boy in bus clipped all this in his phone. Next day everything was on all news channels. Everyone was praising those brave girls. Haryana government announced 50,000 bravery prize as well. After few days when a news channel covered points of that boy and of other villagers. Then it revealed that the girls were fake and doing this since long time to blackmail boys. This way girls were earning a very good fortune.
Back to present. What if the girl sitting next to me is of the same bread? What if she start beating me? Start shouting in the bus? What if the boy sitting other side of me is also with her? Then they will ask for some money. I know myself. I can never promote such thing. And will never give a single rupee to any bitch.  Well then they will call the police. Hmmm. Scene is getting complicated here. Police will take me to police station. Police will tall me to pay some money to those girls and rest of the money to them. Again being a Hindu nationalist I can neither support such things nor surrender. What if they put fake cases on me? And if I refused to pay any money they could go to any level. What if they created fake encounter and record me as a terrorist in their files? NO. I can not let it happen. I'll run away from there. But is it possible to run faster than bullets? No I don't think so. I have to find some other way to escape. Should I give the money? No, I can't. That is not in my DNA. Then what could I do? Got it. I'll fight with the police and shoot them with their bullets. One each. One bullet each for spoiling the system. Oh. 2 are dead and I am still left with 2 pistols and 6 + 4 bullets. Now what. Hmm. I am the reabel.  I am feeling a Neta ji (Subhash Chandra Bose ) in me. And I am gonna f**k the system. Now I have to find those brave girl and boy. DELHI,  ISBT. I hear the voice and suddenly opened my eyes. Oh I find both of them. Sitting around me. And I am still in a sandwich kinda situation. I reach the Delhi bus stand. They are leaving the bus and I can't do anything except watching them leaving me with some high adrenaline.
Wait, conductor didn't ask me for ticket. Hmmm.

Get up early: Make a habit

Many people are never the first person in their families to wake up in the morning. Whatever could be the occasion whether it is exam or some meeting or normal office timings, they find it hard to be on time due to this. Some give excuses of late night studies and others blame heavy traffic jam for their late appearance. But it is always good to be on time or prior to time on the destination. Many of those people try to wake up early next morning. However nothing helps in that. Morning alarm also does not make any good achievements in this. Following are few techniques which could make anyone a Good Morning Person. These points help me a lot. Now I am writing them here. You are reading this, that means you also wish to be a good morning person. Hope any of these points help you to be a morning person and next time whenever you have any exam or meeting, you never get late.

How to Start: Anything in this world does not successfully complete without planning. Following are start points to be a morning person:
  1. Set Goals
  2. Create Plan
  3. Execute Plan
  4. Evaluate Plan
  5. Update if needed and execute again

1. Set Goals: First of all you need to set your goal. Your goal could be anything. It could be your A+ grade in exams, your family, your health or anything else. This is the point to decide your goal. And then summarize your goal in picture/poster. And fix that on front wall (or near your bed/pillow at least) so that you could see that every morning when you open your eye. It could be anything, your family photograph, your favorite actor/actress etc. For example if you are skinny and doing this to join some gym to get a good health then I will suggest you to get a poster of your favorite and good looking actor will help you a lot. But keep your goals easy and achievable. If you put Arnold Schwarzenegger poster on your wall then it is a real tough and very big goal (achievable but very hard).

2. Create Plans: After setting your goal, you need to create plan for your goal. This is the point where you have to decide how you are going to achieve your goal.

  1. If you are a night owl on Facebook/Twitter/WhatsApp, then they are making it hard for you to be a morning person. These applications are to ease your life, don't let these apps spoil your mornings. Use these apps in positive ways. Shout on your Facebook wall that you are going to get up early next morning at 5:00 AM. Your friends may laugh at your initially, but they will also help you achieving your goal. All you need is to take their every comment/taunt/feedback in positive way. Tell your friends that you will go to bed early tonight to get up early. They will surly ask you next day about progress. Achieve it and loud about it.

3. Execute Plan: Now its the time to achieve your goal. Try this:
  1. Set Two Alarms: Most of us set an alarm for morning. I would suggest them to set two alarms. First one for night (like 11:00 PM). And make sure that you are in bed when that alarm rings. And second alarm for morning. This will help you get up.
  2. Put Alarm Clock Far Away: Put you alarm clock far away from your bed (but near enough to break your sleep). So that you have to get up to close your alarm. If possible put alarm near your goal poster. So that you could see your goal while stopping your alarm.

4. Evaluate Plan: After a period of one week, analyze your goal, plan and success. If you do not find much success then, mark all the week points affecting your plan.

5. Update: If you find any week points in your evolution, then its time to your plan. Update your plan to overcome your week points. Week points will vary person to person. So its not possible to mention all the possible week points here. Do mention your week points in comments. I'll surly get back to you with customized and updated plan.
